Preparation of biocompatible nano fibers as nanostructuered scaffolds for tissue engineering
PLG-based and PCL-based nano fibers are prepared by electrospinning and used for anticancer drug delivery in the form of implants and scaffold for tissue engineering. At the present, the research team has focused on preparation of nanostructuered scaffolds for tissue regeneration of dental pulp.As pivotal step in tissue engineering; scaffolds have shown their importance in supporting newly formed tissue in pulp regeneration studies. Organic collagen scaffolds, nonorganic polymer have reported to use as suitable scaffolds. However, most of these materials are synthesized and expensive. Therefore, it seems that more researches need to meet clinical requirements.
