Modified superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles
The aim of this research is development of the novel methods for chemical and physical modification of superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles (SPIONPs) with biocompatible polymers via coating or covalent bonding or entrapment. These modified SPIONPs are used in nanoencapsulation of anticancer drugs with compatible polymers for targeted drug delivery, cell/protein isolation, and as contrast agent in MRI imaging.
